Dear members,

The Career Development Team at Addal is organizing a visit of the pharmaceutical company Roche, one of Basel’s Big Pharma companies The visit will take place on Thursday 21st of April from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm (return to Strasbourg). The schedule will include presentations from members of Human Resources, a postdoctoral fellow and a communications manager, followed by lunch and a visit of the research laboratories and company site. During this event, you will discover Roche research and business strategies, what talent recruitment policies are favored, and how the company image is constructed. This is a unique opportunity to discover a major international pharmaceutical company, and to meet employees and discuss topics related to careers in industry. We recommend participants bring a copy of their CV and/or a business card. The visit will be in English.

The event is restricted to 20 participants and costs €15 per person*. Preference will be given to senior PhD students and young postdocs. This fee includes the bus trip to the company site as well as lunch at Roche. We will depart from the bus station at Place de l’étoile in Strasbourg at 6:30 am (please be on time), and return to Strasbourg at 6 pm.
