Our views

  • A Doctoral degree must be considered as work experience: During a PhD, the candidate progressively acquires experience which should be put forward and valued by future employers.
  • Young researchers are the mainstay of research: We encourage an active involvement of young researchers in every field of research, in order to anticipate and solve future concerns.
  • All Doctoral students must receive payment: We believe all PhD students, regardless of their research field (Life Science, Technology, Social Sciences etc) are entitled to a doctoral or another type of contract, which therefore enables appraisal of their work; and also renders benefits and compensation at the end of their contract.
  • A Doctoral degree is to work research, and only research.
  • Young researchers should be represented in administrative institutions.
